We follow Isabella on the film set of La Chimera directed by Alice Rohrwacher, remembering her debuts as a journalist for the Italian comedy show L’Altra Domenica, rehearsing her new play in France Darwin’s Smile, and at home, Long Island, surrounded by heritage breeds of animals, sheep and cashmere goats.
The daughter of Ingrid Bergman and Italian filmmaker Roberto Rossellini is a surprising combination of worlds, a sophisticated European with a rich family history and an American pioneer with a 28-acre sustainable farm.
